Within the framework of the company’s vision to meet the growing demand for electricity service and provide an additional source of alternative energy for the benefit of the citizen and the company alike, the Northern Electricity Distribution Company, Qudra Company, and Nablus Municipality signed an agreement to operate a solar power plant on the lands of Nablus Municipality with a production capacity of 4 MW.
The signing took place on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the headquarters of the General Administration of the Northern Electricity Distribution Company in Nablus, in the presence of Eng. Iyad Khalaf, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Eng. Asaad Sawalmeh, General Manager, Eng. Anan Anabtawi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qudra, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al-Hijawi, General Manager of Qudra, directors of departments in the Northern Electricity Distribution Company, and the technical staff of Qudra Company.
At the beginning, Eng. Iyad Khalaf welcomed the guests and blessed this agreement, which comes within the framework of the company’s vision to meet the growing demand for electricity service and provide an additional source of alternative energy for the benefit of the citizen and the company alike.
Eng. Anan Anabtawi expressed his happiness to sign this agreement with the Northern Electricity Distribution Company, which opens the way for future cooperation for the benefit and service of the community and the local economy in the city of Nablus.
